Here at Local Organics we are seriously into eating! We have an enthusiastic community of passionate people who not only eat the food we source, but also challenge us to get to know it a little better. Below are some resources shared by the community to help you enjoy and make the most of local, seasonal eating. If you have knowledge, passion or enthusiasm to share, please let us know so we can make it available to our community of happy eaters.
Seasonal Eating is a a mini-newsletter compiled by naturopath and herbalist Clara Bitcon using seasonal foods and herbs to keep yourself healthy and well. Naturopath Clara Bitcon is endlessly inspired by nature. Her days are mostly filled by following the curiosities nature ignites and using its wisdom to help people feel better. Her private practice is based in Melbourne, Australia and she runs a little herbal company conceived from a marriage between scientist, healer and artisan called Elm Botanicals.
A weekly meal planner to help you work out what to prepare with the seasonal, locally grown produce in your Local Organics Box. Each week Emily Rogers suggests 5 or 6 meals for using the produce in your box. All you need is one of our boxes, a reasonably well stocked pantry and a handful of additional ingredients - most of which are available at the Local Organics Store, or from the wonderful farmers who deliver to our East Brunswick Hub.
The Weekly Shopping List is a quick glance guide to the Weekly Meal plan. It suggests additional ingredients you may need form your pantry or from the Local Organics store to prepare the meals in the plan.
Featuring recipes shared by our wonderful community of eaters. Please feel free to share a recipe for our recipes page - we are always in need of inspiration.
